What’s this contraption on the roof?

It’s one of those satellite dishes that can be erected once parked up…similar to what the larger motor homes have. I guess it helps with the owners two-way communications with the RAC when they have broken down in the wilds of Cheshire.

I don't think it needs a good erection - it stays flat.

As an alternative the 5TB Starlink is only £4k a month!

Maybe it wasn't a kerb but a protruding rock. Some of us take our LRs beyond the tarmac where battle scars are almost inevitable.
