I find those shots not very flattering to the car for some reason, most others photos have been great so far but those don't (hopefully) do it justice.
Funny, I had thought exactly the opposite - previous photos (mostly side views) showed a very diluted 911 as far as I was concerned, but these have some real elegance. However, the prettiest 911 ever is surely the Singer 911?Jobs said.." It's really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them." I think he meant most are indeed, "unimaginative".
What Jobs didn't say but is a natural corollary to his thought is that an equal number of products do not necessarily need to be that great but rather can get by often simply by working well and having nice quality and image = the legacy that is and will be the 911. I think what Jobs ultimately meant is that the greatest products will require creators to come up with groundbreaking ideas that will ultimately shape the future but not necessarily be of interest to the other half who will rarely care as long as part of the imaginative jump goes into the mainstream product = microsoft. j

I think the new car looks great. If anything I don't like to hear about all the things that are so much better than the 997 just as the 997 is becoming a realistic purchase option for me.
Not to everyones taste but I LOVE the 911 in all forms. I just love the way they are the only brand to continually stick to an idea and make it work regardless of the fact that they were shovelling sand for many years with the rear engined configuration. They have truely overcome the problem with technologic advancements and sheer bloody-mindedness. Not many companies follow that philosophy when they are in business.
