Bit on the raw side, aren't they? Always an event driving one though. Theyre a car that it's impossible to drive slowly.
The VI is pretty raw. For a daily a 8/9 is better, however for the weekend blasts but still with practicality the 6 is superb, especially mildly tuned to about 375bhp!It is certainly involving and still requires to be driven correctly to get the most from it.
Zero7,
"Fast forward a few yeas and I bought a evo9gt running 400/400 but found it very sterile and rather boring, quick yes but not very evolving and lacked soul. Sold for a Subaru spec-c which was as quick but felta bit more mobile at the rear, a bit softer but for the better and I much preferred it to the Evo"
Yes, love the Spec C or the understated looks & leather of the Spec D scooby, a gentlemens STI. Quick & discreet. Love the Evo IX but would happily have a Spec C or D. Seemed to me quite hard to find a good one.
