Maserati, Q car, same sentence???
My Dad has a 4200 sat on the drive yet the brera and 156ti sat on the street attract far more attention. It's only been since the Masser has been put under a cover people have paid more attention and questioned what it is.

I like the idea of the supercharger. This is a very sophisticated, gentlemans way of adding power - they've been doing it since before the war !

I'm a little surprised they have gone for the cabrio to show this. Surely it is better suited to a tin top MC ? Such a car , sporting 600 bhp plus, would be an epic 911 worrier.

Is the Masseratti one of the prettiest cars being produced today? I certainly think so.
The prettiest, IMHO. The lack of grunt wouldn't bother me in the slightest. When you snag the best looking gal at the dance, who cares that she isn't the fastest runner?
But you would be disappointed when you got her home if she couldn't make it up the stairs.

Having picked mine up this morning, it's got ample power. Not ballistic, but ample for a GT, certainly above 60mph.
And it's got the noise, OH MY BLOODY GOD THE NOISE. Smitten already.

I don't understand why a decent supercharger kit for something like a Mustang or Corvette is ~$10,000 U.S., but they want almost quadruple that just because it's a Maserati? The method/technology isn't that different to justify that price.
If it breaks a maserati engine though there will be a much larger bill, than a mustang or corvette engine.
