Went to test drive a Challenger R/T

Was looking for a Maserati 3200, put a deposit down and went on holiday. They sold it while I was on holiday for a week ( despite this being written down in big letters on their receipt note ) They then tried to say I wasn't due my deposit back in full for mucking them about. w@nkers.

They were well dodgy, kept folding and reforming as a new company. So I went shopping for a 3200 and ended up with nothing. Later on I drove the Assetto Corsa version for a weekend hire and went round the Evo Triangle. That was spiced up and a manual but that didn't get under my skin so I had a lucky escape I think.

I also was looking for a Boxster S to replace my M3, went via a Honda S2000 and ended up with the Tuscan I have now!

I always wanted a TR7 V8 mainly as I had owned the 2L in the past. Looked everywhere for one but finished up with a TVR Chimaera instead.

Spent the best part of 8 months narrowing down my car choice and budget to either a 350Z or a Civic type R.

Came home with a Focus ST. All the Z's were shagged in my price range and this came up locally and was basically perfect - Ford fanboy status reconfirmed, haven't looked back!

About 15yrs ago I was looking at T5 Estates, Audi RS2s etc, bought an Impreza 2000 Turbo saloon! Kept it for four years so never regretted it, still need to scratch that T5 itch though...
