I live in a little 2 bed maisonette in North Yorkshire. I bought it new, I also have an F430 and a Quattroporte. They are probably worth 70% of the house value between them. My good lady moved in with me around 18 months ago; we have no children, no ties and we never have to worry about going out for dinner or booking a holiday. Nor do we need to own a bigger property than we live in now, when it’s just the two of us and two cats.

I’m sure a lot of people would do things differently, but I intend to live my life, enjoying it as much as possible. We both do our own thing with our own money, and providing that the cars don’t affect our quality of life, that’s how it will stay.
fast forward 12 months and you'll be in a 5 bed new build with a kid on the way, live laugh love on the kitchen wall, throw cushions, no italian cars but a nice Ford Focus but you got a great deal on a lease smile
God forbid. smile

Interesting! Those photos where taken by a PH'er about 10 years ago, the house belonged to another PH'er after the Zonda owner (who apparently owned a number of houses on that same estate in Rochdale), the White Zonda was was to replace the 55 plate one after a fire.

Got reminded of this thread passing a house nearby on the way to work.

There's a 'modest' house where the guy has an absolutely top notch collection of cars, he tends to rotate them weekly through the year, a few photos below and there are others not included below including an Aston GT8, Nismo GTR, Clio V6, 997 GT3RS etc They don't seemingly get sold as they come back a few months later.

Not stalking, just send pics to another mate in awe hehe

If you're on here seeing the cars change weekly is a high point of my commute! Top work. bow

Wonder if he’s local to me. That green noble came screaming past me last bank holiday Monday. Sounded epic!

That really looks like a great collection. Love it.

There's a house round the corner from me that I always check out the drive as I pass. His current fleet as far as I can tell:

Exige V6 roadster
996 GT2
987 Boxster Spyder
Mk2 Golf Gti
Impreza P1 (that may have gone)
2-3 MINI GP1s' (it's hard to tell how many as they keep moving around the drive)
Volvo estate of some description

He's got a double garage so most of the cars are just out on the drive. There is a carcoon for something as well. I'm assuming all the GP1s are some kind of investment.

I had an ‘ordinary’ house in Chelsea like this that was £7m. Of course there will be nice cars behind the gate. Friends and family would stay. What’s the big deal.

Pretty sure that R32 is for sale at Harlow Jap Autos, maybe it’s the owner? Assuming they have a big warehouse for the company stock and keeps his collection there talking home what he fancies, he’s living the dream! laugh

Did notice that one for sale, I assume it was sale or return. Initially I did think he must be a trader but the other fairly unique cars were never advertised that I saw + they almost always reappear a few months later. Guy just has an epic epic collection of cars I think.

In a rough northern village near me on a new build estate. House probably worth IRO £250k but there's a McLaren (540 or 570 they look the same to me) and a BMW i7 on the drive.

Looks bizarre next to a sea of Qashkai's and Golf's.

Don't think they had a garage either, makes you wonder how well the McLaren holds up being outside all year round.

I'd be paranoid about getting burgled, there was no extra security.
