Agreed...Add to that the the devaluation of the quid, and there's your reason for the +33% rise in the cost of a new car.

Only rant with my Esseesse is the lack of dealers and poor service from Fiat / Abarth. Staying in Aberdeen my nearest dealer is Edinburgh and they expect me to make two visits just to diagnose problems then get them fixed, so I'll be writing to head office tomorrow. Still love the car to bits, looks fantastic, fun to drive, not many above, quick yet economical, and if you don't have any kids you don't need a big "cock enhancing" couple ;-)
I had a Panda 100HP and dealt with that dealer in Edinburgh. Absolutely terrible service - I feel your pain.

Lovely little cars, I had one for 15 months smile

A few relevant points:
1) The ride is shocking as standard, you will hit your head on the roof if you push it a bit on a b-road, and you'll bounce your way down the motorway.
2) The Essesse shocks are even worse, so do what I did, buy a standard one and an ecu addon box to raise the power to Essesse level.
3) If you have long legs you won't fit. It's the usual italian "short legs, long arms" position, but as it is so small there is nowhere to adjust yourself to get comfy. I'm 5' 11" and I had to sell mine in the end as I just couldn't get comfortable and was starting to get a bad back whenever I drove it. A reach adjustable steering wheel would fix this problem, but for whatever reason Fiat don't or won't fit one.

Having said that, it is hilariously good fun to drive on a well surfaced a-road. If you fit in one, you should at least give on a go if you are in this market smile

^ I'm the same height and have no issues with comfort, I also find motorways fine? Not as comfy as the Lolvo but perfectly acceptable. I do cringe when I see a speedbump or pothole though hehe
