To maintain the proportions of the concept whilst actually having a usable amount of space inside, it'd have to be about 7 feet wide. I suspect you also couldn't get an inline engine or a decent front suspension setup under the concept's bonnet whilst maintaining the required hard-point clearances for type approval. I think the blue car above is probably about best-case for the ultimate styling of the thing - it's cohesive and decently proportioned. I suspect it'll end up looking dumpier and fussier than that.

In fairness, Toyota/Lexus were pretty bang on with the Lexus LC, lets just hope
I think I'd rather keep my expectations low. Besides, there's no way that disguised prototype in the original post is going to look like the concept - the proportions are completely different.
Allegedly 1496kg, 335bhp and 0-62 in 3.8
IF true seems low power from a 3.0 turbo that’s presumably also a hybrid - guess 4wd would give such a good acceleration figure.
Assume not a 2+2 if it’s on the same platform as the Z4?

I think there may be numerous conflicting drips of info being muddled up..... https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows-gen...

There was rumour of a Lexus 3.5 V6 turbo-hybrid unit being considered, with over 450bhp - this may be the version capable of 3.2 0-60.
The 'affordable' performance model is reported to be a 3.0 inline 6-cylinder with about 350bhp.
Then there is the haridresser version which will be a 2L 4-pot turbo with about 250bhp.
All supposedly RWD, auto-boxes at first with rumour of manual boxes later.

Dare I say it, but if it looks like the prototype and had say the M4 engine, gearbox etc, would £100k be a ridiculous price?
In a world where a 575 F-Type costs £112k, R8 costs £112k and the new Vantage costs £120k, I think there would be a place in the world for a £90-100k Toyota
Imagine this:-
With the performance and price tag of a Nissan GTR (£85k)

I'd still be disappointed though as I couldn't afford one.
