Interesting having a 206 next to it - it seems to be quite compact really.
LR seem to be developing two quite distinct model streams. The Sport, Evoque and Range Rover on one side dealing with the urban SUV bit, and the Freelander, Discovery and new Defender on the other dealing with actually driving in a field.
I saw one of these on the A34 near Solihull the Saturday before last being driven in a "spirited" manner before heading north up the M42. In the metal it's certainly distinctive and I would say that it looks much larger than an Evoque alongside. Based on the way it was being driven it looked pretty competent on the tarmac but surely will do the necessary (for most) in the mud.LR seem to be developing two quite distinct model streams. The Sport, Evoque and Range Rover on one side dealing with the urban SUV bit, and the Freelander, Discovery and new Defender on the other dealing with actually driving in a field.

What's the ride like compared to the existing Sport?Trusty Steed said:
No I am not claiming to have driven it, I was comparing my current L322 along with the Demo L402 to the current Sport!
So when you said Trusty Steed said:
Will sell by the '000s. Not for me though! They are no where near as comfortable as the full phat L402
on a thread about the new Sport it's no wonder we were confused!!garyhun said:
