I was going to suggest a cheap Legend motor as a quick fix (same engine codes according (no pun intended) to Wiki).

That engine on eBay was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, I'm in discussions with various people either sourcing a new engine or getting the engine rebuilt. I've just got to decide the best route?

To supercharge it will cost you another £10K...where £8k is for the supercharger it self +install.
It is a plug and play for the low-boost install with good reliability from US experience and can be adapted onto the 'normal' NSX engine....Aftermarket crank and pistons are cheaper than OEM stuff so may be worth considering.
