EEEKKK!!!(apologies if someone has already spotted this) but it doesn't have a proper dash - ALL Mk 2 Cortina Lotus/Twincams had four ancillary clocks a la 1600E with series 1 having the binicle on top of the dash, series 2 along the dash.

Would really have thought the chap would have had this covered given the thorough job he seems to have done otherwise - a non-four clock dash could mean it is a standard car...

Thoughts anyone?

Good spot! I thought that too but wasn't sure enough to post.

Classic car. Modern rip your neck off powertrain. What is not to like here?

Ah, the concours anoraks/beards... they arrive quietly as the socks and sandals, clutching their autoglym. They are amongst here. On this thread. hehe
Absolutely

Proper slidey fun in an absolute classic without the distinct possibility it'll spectacularly bork itself the third time you wring its neck through the 'box.

What's not to like indeed?

That's the 2nd modded Mk2 I've seen in the last month where they've retained the steering box, rather than swapping to an Escort/Capri rack. Given there's off the shelf kits to do it on a standard Mk2, never mind one where you need to modify the crossmember anyway for a different engine, I just don't get it. On all the mk2s I've owned (and that's at least 4 I can remember!) the steering is absolutely the worst part of the driving experience. Fit wider wheels and it's even worse, as the offside chassis leg will flex due to the increased load.

I fitted a 'high top' dash with the 4 gauges to my old 2 door Deluxe, which had a 1,699cc X-flow engine - straightforward to do, but obviously 'wrong' for a 1969 car. Never fancied trying to change to the period correct option. Obviously finding one isn't that straightforward these days. I fitted a longer diff ratio to my 2 door, having crawled around under the donor car at the bottom of a pile of 3 cars to extract it.....those were the days! (Only talking the early 90s!)
