RE: Hyundai i30 N full details
Discussion
So we know Hyundai HAVE had original vehicle layout/concept ideas...
and we know Audi by comaprison haven't
We know Audi utilise the same design language FAR too much up and down the market sectors
and we know Hyundai are by and large doing the same.....
We also know that Hyundai aren't really copying anyone else design language...but they do have Audi's ex design bod..... which isn't the same thing...
So all in all, the only thing holding this car/brand back is by any other name: snobbery...

Audi Quattro? Audi A2? Audi RS2?
I don't think anyone is doubting that the German car industry used to be truly innovative and world-leading, it's just a pity that was a quarter of a century ago. Not that the Germans don't still produce good cars, but I don't see how they can really be considered particularly innovative anymore, especially in styling terms (which seems to be what's being discussed here).

No, I think it is because it is too expensive compared to it's rivals...or that it isn't as good as the others in the price bracket.and we know Audi by comaprison haven't

The actual price and standard spec isn't known and you haven't driven it to know it isn't as good as it's rivals. The journalists who have driven the prototype have been generally full of praise. Sadly your post comes across as snobbery mhj360 said:
Prices set to be from circa £25k. Badge snobs and depreciation should make these a cracking second hand buy, as long as Hyundai are able to sell them in the first place. Could be a good alternative to the Focus ST, 308 GTI and upcoming RS Megane. Look forward to the reviews.
Agree with this fully, badge snobbery will put a 3 year old one of these straight into a decent sub 10k budget.Edited by anonymous-user on Thursday 13th July 16:09

yeah sorry aaron, my post was more about Audi in the relevant past and currently, not their entire history....
Everyone is copying their indicator design...though to be fair if VW's quality brand can be distilled down blinky lights....that ain't great.
