If you own a vw beetle/camper- aircooled from the 60's/70's, someone always says
"you can fit a porsche engine straight in there"
Conversely, if you have a Porsche 924- "ah those 924's- they have a VW truck engine in there"
although those in the know, do know they have vw camper door pulls, mk one golf clocks and vw beetle 1303 rear drums, to name just a few bits.

No matter the type, value or age of vehicle, a bloke driving a convertible car with the roof down looks ridiculous.
having owned a convrtible for 2 years ( it was recently stolen) i can confirm this is fact. luckily i live in Scotland and had an excuse for rarely ever lower the roof in public.Edited by VeeDubBigBird on Tuesday 21st October 06:33
To add to the Car Truths:
If you see a middle-aged man in a base spec Peugeot 205, you can't help feeling a shred of pity.

More of a lorry truth this, the stretch of M6 motorway through Birmingham and Coventry is a treacherous and challenging road, even the most experienced trucker can quickly find himself upside down without warning.
If you are able to survive this distance then the Coventry to Cathorpe Interchange stretch will be more eventful than Wii Mario Kart even though it is the straightest part of any motorway in the world.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
