Britain arguably leads the way in developing such technologies. However, we also lead the world in luxury goods - in the fast-developing nations of Asia, South America and even Western Africa, nobody's luxury goods carry as much cachet as British ones (even when the engineering is fundamentally German). If Bentley can make a product that can take on the top-end Range Rovers etc in the luxury and off-roading stakes, while sustaining jobs at Crewe - good luck to them.I'd still rather have a Range Rover, though...
