yep just make it clear at the time of sale the price does not incl the disc

you get back 1/12th of its value for each complete month left

Just remove the tax before the guy comes to take it away. I doubt he will mention it.

Also, make sure that the purchaser declares it SORN, presuming he is not going to immediately retax it.
