Work your way from one end of the Autosport main hall to the other and you'll wind your way through the full spectrum of motorsport-inspired expertise and enthusiasm that makes the UK such a centre of excellence. At one end you've got manufacturers like Porsche, Ginetta, Caterham and Radical offering off-the-shelf race packages to suit the wealthy privateer or established race team alike.

Best of British motorsport, all under one roof

As you make your way through the companies and components get smaller and more specialist but the same enthusiasm permeates the show, whether you're looking for springs and dampers to upgrade your track day toy or a glitzy motorhome for your nationwide championship campaign. Karting, rallying, track days, tuning - whatever your tastes there are clubs and specialists to chat to and like-minded folk to hang out with.

And once you've taken all that in you can come and drop by the Performance Car Show and PistonHeads stand, say hi to the team and check out the three vehicles we've brought along to symbolise how broad the PH taste in cars really is. If you're suitably inspired to buy such a vehicle you can even enter our competition with Adrian Flux and find your classifieds browsing budget suddenly swelled by as much as £10,000. Which could really open up your options.

There's a ton more to see and do too so if you've not made plans for the weekend yet why not point yourself in the direction of the NEC and find out for yourself.

As the driver of the car I can say there is nothing wrong with that window


And as to the relevance of the pic, its taken as we headed to the Autosport show, top down in 1 degree Celcius
