Not sure whether the arches are too big or the wheels are too small. Probably a little from column A, a little from column B.

fking hell, top find! £8k for a properly refurbed shell fitted with a decent lump has to be a bloody bargain!

Whoever buys it MUST do a collection video and drive it back.

Looks good but too good to be true usually follows a find like that.

I remember oversteering out of many a roundabout and corner in a MKII 1.6 ghia. This can only be better.

The worst that can happen is that YOU didn't build it yourself and you'll always wish you had.

And why carbs and not Forced induction and fuel injection ?

Surely v5 in hand means he has it and 300 must be around the cost of a return ferry trip to deliver the car? Don't let that put you off.

Cheap, easy, simple. Doesn't need separate management for ITB's, so simple enough to service and replace. Can easily be done for £500 rather than the £1k+ you need for decent ITB's, management and mapping.

And the sound amazing, if not as good as ITBs.

This worries me... "this car is located in southern ireland but dont let this put you off as i can get it delivered to the ring road outside london for an extra 300 pound".

What if you live in Scotland? (strokes chin...)

Is it not also cheap for a Mk II?
