Trying to sell my girlfriends fiesta for her and am trying to get an idea on value:

1.25 'Style' (very basic without even A/C etc)
Owned from new with 46k miles
5 door in silver with no dents or scuffs
'59' plate
Very good condition but only 1 service (non franchise) stamped - I have done the other

I've had it up on gumtree and here for today at £5,250 and already had a few calls/texts - have I gone in too cheap? - Last thing I want to do is short sell her as cash is a bit tight (and I'd never hear the end of it!)

It's hard to increase the price as you'll alienate some of the market.

Without AC etc is it a hard sell?!

You haven't gone in too cheap. Trade £4k, private £4.3k absolute max.

Price looks about right, plenty on ebay for that kind of figure.

Thanks for the re-assurance, whenever I've tried recently Its taken a good week to get a call (although typically more specialist)

Much appreciated smile

mk7 Fiesta's are now at the point where they are still cool to have as a first car yet affordable at the same time as they are seen as a bit posh by kids at 17, that's probably the reason you're getting loads of interest smile

Very good point, looks like i'm loosing all the fuel in the 540i when it goes and before she can replace it...

2 services in 4 years and 46k miles? Is that to schedule?

Sounds a bit steep to me. I bought a 2010 Fiesta 1.4 Titanium Auto, 48k miles for the Mrs for £5,800 back in May this year.

If your getting interest good on ya, should sell quick, remember you can always drop the price to do a deal but not increase it!

If you're getting interest at that price then sell it at that price. Seems a high price for basic spec and partial service history.

Service schedule should be 12,500 miles/1 Year whichever comes sooner. Brake fluid changed every 2 years.

Sounds like too much for what it is then, but if you're getting interest then fair play.

Thanks all, hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend - is just about the cheapest 'new' shape on there....

Worst case I'll knock off the £250 so it comes under a few more searches.
