Ford Snowkhana 3: Time For Coffee?

You know it's Christmas when Mental Block is back in stop motion action!

Yes, it's that time of year again! For the third year in a row Ford is bringing some festive cheer to YouTube with a winter stop motion video. It's great actually, just the thing to get you in the Christmas spirit. Or have you reaching for a Christmas spirit.

Snowkhana 3 is a good test of your internet knowledge as well. It references a wealth of popular YouTube videos from 2014 with a Fiesta scale model sliding through all of them. Quite a few of them passed us by, rather embarrassingly. BMW's Driftmob is in there, as is Volvo's truck stunt with Jean-Claude van Damme, and it wouldn't be a Christmas video without a Coke lorry.

Thank goodness for YouTube comments to fill in the gaps. Apparently Santa is there in a parody of the Dove Real Beauty ads and Mutant Giant Spider Dog features also. Do check outStalking Cat if you haven't already; it will be obvious where it features in the video after. The Despicable Me and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle films are included as well which makes for a busy two minutes!

It's a nice welcome into the yuletide season, but also a stark reminder that the day itself is less than two weeks away. Best get shopping!
