Aston Martin DB5 "Written Off"

What a shame, even more so the fact the chaps 4 year old was hurt. I wonder if that is due to lack of belts fitted? Not sure it's a "complete write off" though. I think it will be repaired no problem.

Does it say that no belts were fitted ? I would be very surprised if that were the case.

Pure speculation. Maybe they've been retrofitted, I don't know.

Hope the man and child are ok and recover quickly and fully.

Going from the damage I'd say the Vauxhall Astra probably pulled out on them?
Speculation of course, but I doubt the DB5 owner was being careless with it.

Filling in the figure for the insurance claim amount on their next renewal is going be fun! I doubt written off but several hundred thousand potentially.

the police said it was a complete write off? That will be back on the road no problem, they're worth half a million quid or so, and comes from a time when cars were made by 1 or occasionally 2 men, with a selection of 12 tools, 9 of them hammers. You could do an awful lot more damage than that and still repair it.

I hope that they are both ok and the car is repairable, but please tell me he didn't take his young child out in a car with no seat belts?
