Lowest depreciating big soft roader?
Discussion
Looking at getting a Chelsea Tractor for the 1.4mile school run (as you do ), but really don't like losing money in depreciation. X5/6, RRS, type thing.
Budget is less important than depreciation but I was thinking IRO £40-50k for something up to around 2yrs old. I'm conscious that you can get a new X5 for the price of a 1yr old one.
Any thoughts or ideas?

At some point in the future, your 50 grand cars value will be based on its weight. If you buy a £500 snotter, you can only ever loose 500 quid.
I can think of 1 or 2 exceptions to that 'rule'...Willy Nilly said:
Such as? There are no volume cars that won't get scrapped in the future. Spend 50 grand on a Discovery, Range Rover, X5 or whatever and one day it will be driven onto the weigh bridge at the scrap yard and weighed in. No ifs, no buts.
Classic Range Rovers aren't doing too badly value wise, even wrecks are at a grand or two with decent examples going for much more.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
