Hi all

Are vast majority of traders dodgy? I ask because i was browsing another forum and a trader blatantly asked for a loophole to avoid paying a parking fine for a car that is in trade.

The trader tried to claim they are legit and pay vat and tax yet wont pay a parking ticket. In fact a trade vehicle shouldn't be parked on the road so there's other clear breaches of trade laws.

Another member kindly pointed out that if you dont pay the fine the former registered keeper will get a Noitce of Intention whereby the council makes it formal to charge the owner of the vehicle to pay the fine

However this member was met by abuse and his posts were deleted.

Now am very reluctant to trade my vehicle in!

Anyone ever had something like this come haunt them?

I think you need to read it again, no mention of passing fine to previous keeper, more “can I get out of it?”.

She sounds like a dizzy incompetent bint.

In fact the forum seems populated by a lot of shysters - they don't really do the image of car traders any favours

I think the purpose of the original post was to drive traffic to the other forum on the link.

Rather like someone posting a link to certain topics on PH to a Brake or Rospa forum to provoke a reaction about car enthusiasts.
