I have searched high and low online for a Glass's guide handbook so I can go to auctiions to purchase motors to sell so can anyone guide me as to the wherebouts of such a novel? Do I have to subscribe monthly or is it a book i can pick up in a newsagent every 6 months etc?
Ta
If you need a Glasses Guide as a bible to make money buying cars from auction, tread very carefully. It is a guide, follow it to the letter(or number) and you will get burnt.Ta
I suspect it was simply a warning that the book is called glass's guide, not glass's fact.
Cars can be worth thousands of pounds less than book and occasionaly thousands more. If you have so little experience that you don't know where to get a guide then caution would be prudent at a sale.

10,000th post!!!
OP, you can buy them on ebay.
But as PCD says, it's just a guide. Look the same car up in Glass', CAP, Parkers, wisebuyers, What Car and you'll get five different answers. IMO, the best guide to what cars are worth are looking at the prices of existing ones for sale on eBay and Autotrader and then buying sufficiently lower to create a useful margin.

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?
You will need to use a business name, register as a business or as a trader before you can get a guide.
I would get a job selling cars from a dealer and learn to sell before you learn to buy.
I have known traders who have been in the trade for donkeys years get their fingers burned.

Speaking as a car sales man I'd suggest if you're planning on trading cheapies like £3000 and below I'd stay well away from Glass's and use CAP Current Auction Prices. I honestly think Glass's is only useful for a Franchised main dealer. To be honest the last main dealer I worked at dropped Glass's altogether in favor of CAP.
