Show us your snotter..............
Discussion
Following on from the 'show us your' threads, I've had a few snotters over the years which have been brilliant, cars you leave anywhere etc, really cheap etc. All must be a few hundred quid and any other details you like...
My first and best.. 1989 Nissan Bluebird Turbo, bought for £20 with knackered turbo, grafted on Skyline GTS turbo, two years and 25k miles later only did oil change...sold it for £50 when MOT ran out.

poverty spec sharan tdi s, 90bhp.
wasn't a snotter when we bought it, but it sure is now
7 years of holidays, carrying kids, trips to the tip, pulling caravans etc. and an extra 90,000 miles has seen to that.
I don't care where I leave it, or if anyone dents it and it just keeps going.
We sold the caravan and the Mrs has a nice focus ghia now, thought about swapping it for a mk2 golf cabrio, but at least I know where I am with the big red bus
My £1000 worth. 20,000 miles in year one with relatively minimal work needed.

Why?
Hmmm...The boot hatch doesn't lock, one of the passenger doors doesn't open. Half the trim on the inside is missing. One of the wheel trims is missing and it certainly isn't particularly economical (2.9TD). However, we bought it for around £3.50 with 12 months tax and MOT. Once the MOT is out, it's gone.
My old snotter, Audi 80 2.0. I bought it for around £200 with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax, gave it a polish and quite enjoyed it for 6months to a year then got rid for £600. if it had been economical would have kept it longer i think!
Then there is my old ex plod omega 3.0 v6, bought for £500 and stripped, mainly for a ring trip. Was a great car and very tail happy!

Now this is a snotter:
Bought for a few hundred- cost nothing to run, was a 1.4 td, so was uber frugal. Car was like a little tank, just kept going and going.
The bonnet was painted by the previous owner- paint peeled off, and he had a tin of chalkboard paint handy! it was great, you could just doodle yourself some fresh paintwork
Sold on for a few hundred after a year. Silly cheap motoring. Only sold it as I found the seats uncomfy, and got tired of rattling around in a horrid little deseil car. (although for some reason, i've ended up in a similar sitution now!)
