Interesting...

http://www.pw-sportscars.co.uk/

Hopefully not doomed to failure, interested to see what they come out with.

Good luck to them but asking for investment with a simple line drawing is hoping.

"currently seeking investment"

Can't fail if you've not started.

Er reliable, easy maintenance and rose-jointed suspension don't belong in the same brief. Unless regularly replacing rose-joints is someones idea of easy...

I'd prefer a few of the fasteners to be high tensile steel as well. wink

Never had a problem with rose joints on my caterham?! lasted 40k+ with no issues. Anyway, ball joints and bushes wear dont they...

All depends on the joint and Caterham have had a while to get theirs right...

I'd hope to see all of them booted and with grease nipples but that might be a bit much to expect.

Might be worth an email...
Clearly only at the drawing board stage but I'm intrigued. There does seem to be a gap in the market to fill.

It needs a wheel at each corner, assuming that is how it's supposed to look!

Hmm, rose-jointed suspension on a mainstream road car? In-board suspension probably doesn't bode very well for packaging, either.

Never mind this, I'm still waiting for that Smart Roadster based AC Ace - Project Kimber I think it was called.

I sincerely wish them the best of luck, but on every such thread this must be posted:

hehe

For the price of about £50 they could have had a bit more of a website along with funky CGI, surely? (Obviously, the CGI wouldn't cost £50 but surely they have sketches or similar already?)

Apparently there's very little info that can be released "due to various NDS's in place."

Shame - would like to see a design!

If that's the design, then count me out.

rather harsh, i quite like it, its supposed to be retro... spitfire-esque.

EDIT:
Just had a reply, no thats not the design, thats just as early concept, and the website is being built thats just a holdinh page for now.

On the positive side, there's a Cosworth version in the works as well, same engine as the BAC Mono... (that WONT be under £20k though!)
