Stangers leaning/sitting on your P&J - WTF
Discussion
Surely I'm not alone here?
I HATE it when people lean or sit on any of my cars! It's probably a bit of OCD coming into play, but I just cannot stand seeing someone else sitting or leaning on the car, as there are always smudges and marring left behind, and even light scratches. However, while I accept that the above is probably OTT, this evening took the biscuit! I had my Accord resprayed at great expense a few days ago, and tonight was it's first outing so I took swmbo out for a meal as a treat for us both. Upon leaving the restaurant however, I am greeted by a respectable looking woman sat ON TOP of my bonnet, with her bag placed aside her and one foot perched on the front alloy, meanwhile she is there nattering on the phone.
Frankly I was furious, and even after yelling at her to GTFO my car, she was in no rush and first had to end her phone call and put it in her bag, before sliding her arse off the bonnet and wing then dragged her bag off too. This is where you guys will probably slate me, but I had no hesitation in getting her details and told her I would seek compensation for any damage, as there are multiple scratches and marring, some of which I can feel. I will be speaking to the body shop tomorrow and hope they can be removed via buffing and wetsanding, but I'm skeptical to be honest! I just cannot believe someone would be so careless and dispectful, and that it would happen 3 bloody days after a full respray and detail...
Anyway, rant over!
Oh, and no she had no remorse and didn't even offer an apology. She even came out with the whole "but it's only an old Honda!".

Came out of a petrol station the other day and found 3 blokes opening the doors and trying to get in mine to pose for pics.
Took it to a car meet at a local brewery/pub the other day and upon getting it home found dusty foot prints on the drivers side running boards....luckerly on the protective film but even so.
The car...Morgan aero 8.

I've given up caring - it happens all the time in London. The trouble is the running boards aren't load bearing, so I really hope someone doesn't break them.
I had the car wrapped entirely, which stops all the minor paint damage. I found out the hard way with the first one I owned that jeans rivets cause expensive damage to the paintwork, over time.
I worked at a cinema and would regularly get people who would come out after the film and sit on the bonnet and chat/smoke so I bought a cheap old second car just to drive to work and back and stop me being worried about my good car.
The car I bought was an old Y reg Maestro, low miles, one of the twin carb versions. Went well but looked bad, as a trick to keep the rust away so I could keep it for as long as possible with the minimum of effort at MOT time I would spray used engine oil under it and around the tops of the wings and bonnet edges, after a while it would get dusty and would not look too bad.
I often thought about warning all those people who would sit on it that they were going to get oily asses but never bothered.

I wanted to do much worse, but I didn't want to ruin swmbos night even though she was pretty upset about it all.
I'm just heartbroken tbh. Just came back from having a smoke, and you can really see the marks under the garage lights, one of which looks like it's down to the primer . Even with her details though, doubt I can prove she did it so I'll probably end up paying for it myself.

no your not alone OP, i would have dragged the fking cretin off the car so fast she wouldnt have had time to end her phone call!
WTF is it with people and not respecting other peoples property?! regardless of whether it is old or not, you dont own it so fk off away from it!
Ill assume it was the usual skanky chav type thats knocked out several kids by 7 different blokes that was sitting on your car?

Yes the "respectable" in my OP was ever so slightly sarcastic WTF is it with people and not respecting other peoples property?! regardless of whether it is old or not, you dont own it so fk off away from it!

Noticed that the alloy has a nasty Mark where she had her shoe too, only got them back from Lepsons the other fecking week! Bloody amazing what amount of damage she has done really, all from just sitting on it.
the mentality of some people truly baffles me, the way some people conduct themselves in this day is, imo a cause for concern, fair play for keeping calm and getting details etc. Regardless of what car it is it still doesn't belong her so she should be nowhere near it. She probably scrounges off society, is given everything so therefor has no true understanding of value of money.
I came out of the supermarket once to find a middle aged couple with 2 bags of shopping and various loose shopping items (packets and tins) all over my bonnet, they were re-packing them into a box in their boot; they didn't see a problem with it at all and made me wait until they had finished.
I was quite tempted to jump in and drive off scattering their shopping along the car park but it would probably have caused some damage to my car as well.
To be fair they were quite careful and there was only some light scratching but it was the fact that they had done it without even considering whether it was a breach of what a normal person would consider appropriate.
