RE: Zenos E10: Pic Of The Week
Friday 17th October 2014
It seems like we've been talking about the Zenos for yonks, even though the first details only emerged just over a year ago. But as excitement has built through show reveals and new models so the wait to drive one has seemed so much longer.
Zenos E10: Pic Of The Week
First drive of the Zenos coming soon; here's a desktop teaser to whet the appetite
But now we have. It's good too. Full and more detailed analysis to follow from Dan early next week but it has certainly impressed on both road and track. So here we have the E10 in its natural environment, fast along a British B-road.
Finally, we're looking forward to seeing all of you signed up for the Zenos Sunday Service next weekend. It's another oversubscribed SS so thanks to everyone for getting involved. See you then!

I'm sorry, but you look like such a tit wearing a full face helmet in a car on a public road, no matter how fast, how many Gs it can pull and what an amazing driver you are

This. The level of COOL immediately goes below zero
And the Zenos is hideous, as is the X-Bow, as is the AeroSeven.
A car which makes the driver look like an after-thought is a stupid invention.

The road to bankruptcy is littered with companies which have tried to sell cars without a windscreen.
yes indeed. Good thing is that Zenos isn't trying. From [1]:Q: Is there a windscreen and roof?
A: The front bonnet panel has been engineered to accommodate an after-market windscreen which will be available at the point customer deliveries commence early 2015. The windscreen package will include a wiper and wiper motor. Similarly a weather hood is in development that can be fitted to the windscreen. This hood is a ‘get me home’ canvas. There are no side screens.
Sounds like roughly "7 with a half hood" levels of comfort. Should make the thing a lot more useable outside of the track. Wonder what the plans are regarding export to Europe. Not heard anything specific like a target date on that :-/.
Edit: and here's a concept rendering from their site:
