Most boring car you've owned?
Discussion
As per title.
I've just purchased a 2001 toyota corolla 1.4 GS.
Now it seems pretty well screwed together has working a/c,electric windows, decent radio, good boot, seats 5 blah blah.
Thing is it's the most dull car I've ever owned.
Steering void of any feel,Uninspiring engine I thought the vvti would be abit VTEC YO,Nasty interior
Styling is abit erm acquired taste...
This is coming from a k11 Nissan Micra which had bags of character and was much more fun to drive.
I'll prob keep the corolla until it dies on an mot more expensive than itself but once saving for a house is over a toy is definately on the cards!!
Over to you.

Not that I have owned, but often used from the company pool - Audi A3 TDI, not sure which engine, presumably smallest.
Gutless and agricultural engine, wallowy handling, nasty gearchange, zero steering feel.
Basically one big steaming pile of car for people who don't care about cars and just want to get from A to B.

Mk6 Golf 1.6 TDi Bluemotion.
About as fun as ass-cancer.
86mpg on a run though.
My wife has a Bluemotion 1.6 TDi Passat Estate. Just think of your Golf with 1.5 times the weight. Boring doesn't come close. It is however a good place to be on the French Autoroute but on the Autobahn it took about 3 minutes to get to 120 with my foot nailed to the floor! Great dump run car as well.About as fun as ass-cancer.

A 90s Nissan Almera 1.4. To be fair I didn't buy it because I wanted or needed it, just because it was for sale just down the road for £250 with a decent MOT, I drove it to the gym and back for a couple of months (putting a whole £10 of petrol in during that time) then sold it for £350 .
It wasn't bad actually, perfectly fine little car.
