YouTube vlogger accident.
Discussion
I would guess a fair amount of people on PH watch YouTube videos of various vloggers (LLF,Officially Gassed,TR Hamza ect) reviewing high performance and heavily modified cars.I'm certainly guilty. The standard format is a brief overview of the car and its additions followed by the driver taking the chap/lady for a "spirited" drive then hands the reins over to the reviewer who sticks it through its paces.
I always have this uneasy feeling when watching that someones going to run out of skill driving at way over 100 mph on a B road (blurred speedo mandatory) and stack it trying to show off and it seems that has gone and happened. To be honest would you get into a 600 bhp RS3 with a random person you met 10 minutes ago and let them drive like they were transporting a kidney?
Anyhoo one of the regulars TR Hamza is currently in hospital looking like an extra from casualty with multiple broken bones because someone decided to put an X4M passenger side first into a tree at speed because they lost control.I think in a hot hatch they would have been cleaning Hamza out with a sponge so he's very lucky. Hopefully he makes a swift recovery.

Those that are capable of managing the risk of doing what is shown in these videos to an acceptable level are the type of people who generally want no part in these type of videos. Conversely those producing these videos have no interest or time for those who would "call it" and as such produce a boring video because that doesn't get subs.
As such you end up with a load of "desperate for youtube fame" but not that skilful or experienced types encouraged to exceed their abilities by someone with a camera..... it's only ever going to end one way unfortunately and it's amazing this hasn't happened before.

Kind of an unfortunate irony that the TR Hamza lad involved in the crash actually seems like one of the more sensible drivers out of a lot of the people seen on those types of youtube channels.
Guys lucky to be alive though, side impact with a tree, wasnt such a modern car it would have been much worse outcome. Wish him well and if he returns to the youtube stuff I would imagine he will be even more sensible in the future.
