W!arning.... bottles thrown at vehicles
Discussion
Wife just had a terrifying experience, some young scumbags just threw a couple of bottles at her windscreen, as she was coming down Cockshot hill into Reigate. She pulled into the layby and shouted at the :censorded:ing @holes who ran off. Luckily the bottles were plastic rather than glass! So no damage done, apart from my wifes nerves are in tatters.
So keeps your eyes peeled if you travel that neck of the woods, & if you manage to get hold of one of them give them a good

I had a water balloon chucked at the windscreen of the Chim once, by a bunch of lads on bikes going the other way.
I did an immediate U-turn with spinning tyres, it was ing hilarious to see them pedal their arses off, terrified that I'd run them down.
They turned into a housing estate and I gave up, but not before screaming a bollocking at them that they wouldn't have forgotten.

A couple of years ago the female front passenger of a Nissan people carrier lobbed an empty lager bottle at my car - I was driving behind and pulled alongside aside as it turned right at a roundabout.
I switched lanes and followed it until I'd made a note of the registration then drove straight to the police station and reported it.
"Oh... we know about her...." I was told.

Few months ago one of a group of 4 young neds lobbed a bottle in front of the TVR as I passed. Much laughter etc... I decided not to go back, what's the point?
A couple of nights later, driving the other car in the rain, same group at bus stop. Biiiiiiig puddle at bus stop.
I know you shouldn't... but just sometimes you can't help yourself, eh?

Classic!
Last year a little kid threw a stone at my car hitting the bodywork and glass but luckily didn't break it - did leave a nasty scratch tho - nothing anyone will notice (track day shed)
I dived round the back of the housing estate and parked up (it's a bit noisey too)
Got the little tw@t and he knew he been caught to - little sod pissed his pants as I frog marched him to his house
parents didn't give a monkeys so I just had to wait a while
Cost me a bag of sugar but I'm sure it cost a bit more to drain the tank

Some years ago there was a section of dual carriageway near Peterborough which became known as "bomb alley". The final straw (thank heavens) for the local boys in blue was when a routine patrol at 4am found a paving slab suspended on a rope from a bridge at windscreen height...
For anyone who recalls the paving slab thrown through a taxi's windscreen during the miners' strike, the effects are well-known and unpleasant.
When are we going to start sentencing parents for these sorts of crimes? The attitudes can only start in one place...

Parents of offending children under 18 should take the full sentence/fines of the crime their children commit, this is the only way these type of parents take note.
