Asda have 5L (I think) for £8 - anyone know of cheaper?

It's going to end up on the road anyway until I am able to find the source of this leak....

It's not exactly dropping it's sump all over the road every couple of miles, just a slow drip.

Seems I was looking at the price of a 2L bottle under a stack of 5L ones....

Bought a litre of some generic crap from a local motor factors, that'll do for now. Was no Castrol at that price in my local (no bottles that size) - will keep an eye out for it though.

Or a gallon of 20W 40 for £7 - about the same price as petrol ! !

I don't work for Asda by the way - other supermarkets are available.
laugh - they don't sell that crap in my local either. There's a limit as to how cheap I'll go - it IS a snotter but not a terrible one.

Lovely, nothing like good quality oil and that's nothing like good quality oil.
Nothing really wrong with it if you're putting it into something that's on it's last legs and burning it though, right? (or really old engines that actually use 20W50, there's got to be some?)

It's not the Picanto spilling its guts then ?
No - if it was it'd be doing so in a Kia workshop laugh

It's an Almera (2002 02 with 105k on the clock) which I'm running for the next few weeks for work. smile

For those accusing me of murder - just driven 320 miles checking periodically and it didn't lose a drop . Seems to be related to something cooling when parked - dodgy seal or something.
