Family car £200/month

anyone recommend any cracking deals on leases at the mo?

I saw an A-Class from Lings at £200, but its weedy & poverty spec

My Cherokee has cost about £1k in bits - plus urban mpg of c. half a modern unit means that the 10k I've done cost about 2.5k in fuel

So on 10k miles per year:

Cherokee
Depreciation - nil
Fuel - £2500
Tax - £210
Service/repairs - £1000

Total = £3710 = £309/month


Bluemotiony lease motor
Depreciation - £2400
Fuel - £1250
Tax - £30
Service - £100

Total = £3780 = £315/month

anyone got a simplt full cost modelling web page or similar?

Can't offer any tips on great lease deals, sorry. I don't think £200/month will go far when you include VAT on the lease cost. Probably lucky to get a basic Polo/Fiesta type car for that.

the povvo spec a-class is £202 - yeah - insurance i'd taken as relatively flat - i.e. it'll be about £500 whatever i get....

rather irritatingly - that seems to inflate to £280 when you go through to the site....
