I'm bloody livid.

Early last week I found a note under my windscreen wiper stating:

"Why do you always park outside our home so we cant!!
You dont even live up this end"

No name or address was given but I can narrow it down to maybe 4 flats.

Fast forward to today and there's a nice long key mark along my rear wing just under the filler flap.

Our road is houses (with driveways) one side and blocks of 4 maisonettes the other (no driveways). There is no allocated parking so it's pot luck where a space crops up and everyone is in the same boat. I rarely get to park directly outside my place. At the time the note was placed my car was parked totally legally and not causing an obstruction.

Random attack? Note writer upping their game?

I'm pondering letting the police know just so it's recorded if it becomes a regular thing and they can maybe take things further.

Not quite sure what I expect in reply, just needed to vent frown

fkers!

I should also point out that I don't always park in the same place either, it's random.

I suspect a woman actually. She knows it's my car so that tactic won't work.

What's more chickensh*t than f*cking with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*ck with another man's vehicle.

I can fully see your point but I'm not being aggressive or militant about where I park. People DO park on our road and cause an obstruction by parking well onto the pavement on the house+driveway side making passage for large vehicles difficult. There's really only room to park on the maisonette side which is what I always do. Also, near the "offending" area (about 2 or three car lengths up the road) is a marked disabled space which is always kept clear. If we divide the street into 3 sections and I live in the 2nd section then I'm nearly always parked within that section. I'll also point out that we've lived there for 6 years and it's never been an issue with anyone until now. As I said, everyone is in the same boat. I think the note writer is a bit hard of thinking and has seen my car on its own near their flat over a few weekends. It would have been parked then when the road was full of parked cars on a Friday but left on its own when other cars have been driven away and they've become incensed thinking I've done it deliberately. Tempted to pop a note on suspect's car saying "Why do you think?" If it's not her then it's just odd, if it is then it'd maybe give pause for thought. Or I could just follow PH advice and reverse a flaming skip covered in rude words through the wall.

furious Is there a car that is consistently parking in the same spot now?
We've narrowed it down to 2 possible suspects I think.
