I had an ODB1 in a MK3 Golf on a K plate, what a lovely engine that was.
Too bad the cars connected to the engine is sub-par. Needs to be RWD to be of any interest. Which sadly excludes most of the Alfas too..So I guess its a question of the most responsive BMW 6? Anyone ?

You didn't make yourself very clear. Your original question was about which 6 Cyl engines have little or no throttle delay, you never mention what they may or may not be bolted to!
Point taken, english is not my first language, sorry for insulting fellow pistonheads with my question Edited by essexplumber on Tuesday 11th October 18:25

But the drivetrain of a car has no effect on how good an engine is.
Best at what? Power? Noise? Reliability? etc, etc.
Can't include the Skline GTR's then if it's only RWD for example.
I know, I was just framing it for purposes of what I would actually consider buying.. Bit misleading im sorry..Best at what? Power? Noise? Reliability? etc, etc.
