Transit van scrap value?

As the headline, our LWB 2.5tdi has failed its MOT owing to chassis corrosion, although this could be easily repaired with a few patch plate welds. I have to weigh up as to whether its time to say bye bye to the old bus. I reckon to patch up and sell its worth 400 quid as its a good reliable van.

Thanks for comments. Just got a price for all the welding work to MOT standard for 256 quid + VAT. New front wing last year and only 114,000 miles on the clock backed with all MOT's. Its an automatic as well which I'm told is very unusual. Decision time.
