When should a chap change his discs?
My rears have been an advisory for a couple of years because of scoring, but were ok'd by the garage. I've just had a look at the fronts and noticed that they've worn by about 1mm on both surfaces, leaving a thin rusty lip. These are vented discs on a 2000 Nissan Primera.
Is that level of wear normal, or are they at the end of their useful life. They look like they've been on a fair while, but I don't know about these things, so could do with some vague input.
