Wandering through the West End on my way to the office, I found this earlier...

Aside from looking like it's taken a wrong turn from a race track, it's quite amusing to see such a thing just parked in a side street.

I often see Chris Evans' cars parked around the area, but even for the West End this is a staggering sight. Must try and work out what time his radio programme finishes... smile

The cars around it are often there, so he was likely to have parallel parked!

Stayed in the Astor Court a few times... usually a quiet hotel. Wouldn't have minded being woken by this though! hehe

See what time the parking runs out on it ?! biggrin
hehe

He could be more considerate and park outside my favourite coffee shop... Kaffeine is only 100 yards away!

How do you know the other cars were there first?
I pass this spot a minimum of twice a day - and the cars around it are often parked there. Whilst I don't know, I'd suggest it was likely he had to parallel park.

Is it is a reserved space?
Nope. Have to pay as well - plenty of wardens about.

I dare say the Beebs liability insurance would cover it - especially as Chris is an employee.
IS he actually a Beeb employee, or is he a "contractor"? (genuine question)

Oh right, it's just odd that this particular space is usually free and thus he must of reversed parked...
Wonder if that car is easy enough to live with in traffic, despite the size.
Passing again in a few hours - will check! smile

Aye thats right, if you are just 5 mins you have to wait round the corner out of sight until the hour is up.

I once got a ticket for returning to the car after 57 mins
