You only have to visit the PH stolen car post to see how vulnerable you pride and joy is. Autocar published an article showing it has reached almost epidemic proportions. I am amazed that all PH'ers don't automatically fit a tracker to their pride and joys. I don't at the moment have a vehicle that is valuable or desirable, but when I do, it's going to get a tracker fitted. I'm think of a tracker that doesn't broadcast it's installation/use, uses GPS to broadcast the vehicles location, alerts you to the theft as it occurs, and can remotely deactivate the cars electronic systems. The ability to render the thief permanently unable to reproduce would be nice as well!! Recommendations invited.
