What convertible?

Hi,

Need to replace my wife's 2005 MX-5. Had a little incident at Nurburgring and wrecked it. Need to get her a replacement ideally this week.

Initial thoughts were the MX-5 roadster with hard top folding roof.

She also likes the look of a Jag XK.

Criteria
Under 10K
Under 40,000 miles
Electric hard top roof
Reliable and good build quality

Newer MX-5 ticks all the boxes just wondering is there anything else I need to consider.

Thanks for all advice. Viewed 2 dealer and 1 private, Tuesday around Yorkshire.

Went to Morpeth Wed morning, viewed, purchased and taken same day.
Had arranged car hire at £300 (now cancelled) so she had transport until we found something so that encouraged me to find something quick.

Well, gave it a good clean this morning. Covered with ingrained dirt, dog hair, smell of, I guess, dog sick.
For mileage, i think its quite tired but it only needs a bit of love and attention to bring it up to spec.

1st mot - 6700 miles
2nd mot - 8815 miles
3rd mot - 11114

All main dealer servicing
2007 - 2 miles
2009 - 3406 miles
2010 - 5537 miles
2011 - 8316 miles

Off for a service tomorrow and parking sensors next week.
