Hi,

So I need a little advice with what I should do.
I have an impreza in which the wheel arches had just started to bubble. As a conscientious car owner I researched who I felt would be best to do the job... Who I would trust to leave my car with first and foremost.
All comments were basically what a good car it was and if I really wanted to go ahead then no cutting away would really be needed.

I have had the car back a week....yes one week... And can not believe I can see rust coming through, lots of small
Bubbles and paintwork actually separating.

The sprayer has said he will redo the work "out of good will but will accept no responsibility as said the rust would come back"
On further inspection (as it was raining when collected so couldn't see) the front bumper, also resprayed, has got a number of stone chips still remaining and is even an area where you can see the rubbing down of filler.
On the back quarter panels you can also see and feel where he has masked it off.

So, what do I do? He has said he will redo arches. Don't know if I should let him! But I've now spent all money saved to then have to have it redone. I

Because there wasn't too much bubbling, had only just started, i thought it would be ok to use sandblasting so to be able to have more original bodywork left to work on next time the arches went...in a few years time. Thing is looking at other bits of work he's done doesn't give me the impression its going to be done to the standard i would have liked.

It wasn't one of the top end quotes as simply cant afford those but he isn't back street or dodgy. A one man workshop, clean and professional. Bit of a surprise really. When looking for quotes they all really varied some you could buy a car for!
