There aren't many things I hate more than modified Range Rovers...Sports are chavvy in the extreme anyway, why in god's name would you want to make it any more?
The reflection of your windscreen vent is quite offputting too, looks like a really st diffuser on the RRS
This is surely the moment at which to say "But I don't have a windscreen vent!" The reflection of your windscreen vent is quite offputting too, looks like a really st diffuser on the RRS
And to answer the previous question, yes. Yes it was chrome. Well, chromed plastic, anyway!

I am rather bemused by it. Why would someone do this to their car?
Why do you care? Each to their own live and let live.I don't find it offensive or anything, and I have no problem with the owner putting the badging on. I just wonder at the thought process behind it. I also wonder why it's almost invariably done to Range Rovers.

If the green Rover in the OP's profile is his, then people in glass houses etc etc...
You mean the unmodified (except wheels, which were as close as I could get to factory fit) V8 which was exactly how it left MG Rover? You'll have to explain that one to me.It was superb to drive (even if it did chew through rear tyres in 6,000 miles even with a light right foot)m and it's certainly one of the more interesting and individual cars of the last two decades, which I don't think can really be said of a Rangey Sport with some aftermarket badges on it.

The plan was to replace it with a company S-Max and keep a couple of grand back for an MX-5, old 106 GTi or something equally frivolous.
That was 18 months or so ago, and I realised that the roads in the South East are so bloody over-crowded these days that I would be buying a toy just to sit in traffic in less comfort than in the S-Max, so I spent the £2k on a new mountain bike instead, and get far more adrenaline far more frequently as a result!!!

Bet you're sorry you posted this now OP, why is the guy getting such a hard time, Range Rover looks like st, why all the digs at his own car? People will eventually stop posting anything and all we'we'll be left with is where we can buy an old barge or where the best lease deal is!
Nah... I had 6 years of people taking the piss when I owned it. Nobody was ever anything but complimentary after they'd been in it / on a hoon with it / watched it doing donuts in fields in Norfolk.... Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
