So my walk home takes me along an ordinary suburban street in Lewisham, SE London. I've noticed a low car under a heavy cover for quite some time. I've been trying to guess what it is for ages. I was thinking NSX. I finally saw the car uncovered and it turned out to be this!

The f3ero plate made me think it was a Pontiac Fiero based Replica but according to totalcarcheck it's the real deal.

It's parked right opposite another 3 bed semi with a V8 Vantage on the driveway. It got me thinking - are there any better examples of spectacular motors parked on the driveway of dull suburban houses?

The house with the Lambo is a small 3 bed terrace backing onto a railway line. Others in the street sell for about the £500k mark (which wouldn't get you much else in the area). It hasn't changed hands in many years so I doubt the owner would have paid much for it.

Just to clarify, I don't think it's a bad thing! I just seem to see quite a lot of very flash cars parked outside innocuous houses these days whereas in my youth seeing something like this would have been a treat (especially in Lewisham!). More examples please!

I live in the Lewisham area and see this Lambo driving around quite regularly (Last Friday as an example).
Just to echo the car vs house price thing - a 3.5 (?!) bed terraced house in my road would be in the £1.3m range these days as Lewisham encompasses a wide demographic spectrum of people and property. Some bits I would be wary about going out in, but other bits are nice/ expensive. Some houses in Blackheath are well in excess of £2m eg more than double that. It helps that Canary Wharf with its clutch of bankers is just across the river and from their towers they have spotted that you can buy very big houses with big gardens for a fraction of the price of W London and only be 15 mins from work. So there's quite a lot of young up and coming rich types mixed in with the historically more challenging types. Whether that's good or bad is another question...
There a few Astons / porkers /Teslas and so on in my road - for a brief glorious period there was even a ( garaged) F40 although he clearly had the house car value ratio back to front and moved to somewhere more appropriate pretty sharpish.
Our 3 cars with an average age of 14 years are obviously letting the side down.
Errr, Driving about last Friday? Really?

Didn't think this would generate so much interest - TOTD as well. Here's the well concealed Lambo outside the most definitely very modest house smile

No tax doesn't mean its not driven
I guess so. Taking a big risk though - not exactly inconspicuous is it!
