I keep seeing cars and vans that appear to be cheap but they are located in Ireland - generally Southern.

What's the catch ?

Does exporting vehicles lose their HPi data ie are they likely to be clocked etc

Thanks

HPI only covers UK vehicles, so there's no data to lose. There may be an Irish equivalent, if you know their original RoI reg.
Sorry I was referring to importing UK cars, loosing the HPI / mileage then re importing

The market often shifts.. a lot of time it can be cheaper for us to import a UK car than buy the equivalent car here, even allowing for our ridiculous import tax.
Can you give some examples of what you mean? Presumably at the lower value end of the market?
At the minute I'm seeing lots of VW T5 vans sub £10k approx £2k lower than UK price

I thought there were no taxes as we're all in the EU
