Browsing for a replacement family wagon I was amazed to see a Guilia Quadrifoglio with 47k miles on it in a year. Well done to whoever has done that but allowing for 35mpg that's still 1,342 gallons or 6096 litres or £8500 on fuel alone. I expect it will be more.

I don't drive big mileages at 10-15k pa but just wondered who on PH runs sports cars for monster miles and whether you change annually or run them into the ground?

Ha good on you.
You're currently in second place! Come on we need a Veyron doing 30k pa.

For the avoidance of doubt (as the mods moved me here as I wasn't very clear in the original post) I'm not looking for recommendations, just proof a few of you are barking mad and are running a car you love rather than a diseasel eurobox.

is that the one used on trackdays ? It's one way of paying for it! I think that made man-maths sense didn't it?

80k a year? That’s got to be the thread winner! How many miles does an HGV (is it now LGV??) trucker drive on average?
