I recently handed my car in for a service as part of my service plan and they’ve told me I need my brakes, brake fluid and tyres replaced. I’ve been quoted £64 for budget tyres, £87 for mid range, £50 for the brake fluid and around £150 for the brake pads themselves. Is this a fair price or should I look elsewhere? Am I even able to look elsewhere considering my car is on a lease deal?

The paperwork doesn’t specify any brand but when I asked they suggested those 2 tyres and said I could get another tyre from somewhere else later on if wanted (specifically mentioned continental).

I’m only in my second year of a 4 year lease, bought the car brand new and this was my second service I’ve had due to the fact I’ve reached 21,000 miles on it.

Got it done from Arnold Clark. I just wasn’t sure if a lease deal meant you could only get any repairs or anything done from them.
