In the process of purchasing a 2012 C63 Coupe.

I am 23 years old, live in a good postcode.

I cannot seem to obtain a realistic car insurance quote, does anyone have any recommendations? I have tried all price comparison sites, direct line, elephant, admiral, etc etc... Best quote so far is over £3000.

Thanks in advance.

-Realistic is £2000-£3000-

Thanks for the advice.

Will be my daily driver, not for commuting. I do not have any NCB since I sold my car 3 years ago and have been named driver since. This is stinging me.. No points/convictions/claims etc

Strange as I had an Audi S3 at 18 years old, first car for only £1900 fully comp, no black box!

Post code = B rating

I tried adrian flux and they quoted over £3750.

If anyone has any more specialist brokers who they recommend. I am fully aware of the maintenance costs of a 6.3 litre Mercedes, just trying to reduce them a little with insurance..

I’ll try make a few alterations to the quotes.

Tried hilcux and BIPA but no luck either. Hilcux only give multi-car insurance no single insurance.

Greenlight said they were not interested in Mercedes or BMW 🤣. Also said they require ownership of at least a year before they insure..

Thank you to ever suggested lowering the excess!!

I reduced the excess to £0 and my quotes came out at a £1000 less!

Fully comp, £550 total excess, including mods to the car = £2500 (elephant/admiral).
