Anyone else watching Top Gear?

Has anyone noticed that he does not look quite right?

Any particular reason? There was always stick going each way, but normally light hearted. Seems different now.

Would be a shame if he left.

Or recently pissed anyway. I suspect May has a drink problem
If he was turning up to shooting pissed it certainly would explain why the others have less time for him now.

Yes, I always thought that JM was certainly more intelligent and a better presenter than the other two. Not so obvious, more a slow burner.

Originally thought that that was the reason why he appeared not to be getting on so well with the others. JC certainly does not like getting upstaged.

Bill Bryson. Well, I think that man is a danger, frankly. If there is one thing I can't stand it's beardy, sanctimonious, patronising Americans in tartan trousers coming to England and trying to persuade us to turn into a museum. He wants the East End for the cheeky Cockney chaps pushing wheelbarrows full of eels and he wants northernists to be industrialists with big braces and blokes dying of consumption - Good morning Bill, I've got the consumption, it's tradition alright. I say Bill, if you're watching - OK, now you won't be watching because we're not talking about steam engines or longboats or bear-baiting - but IF you've happened to tune in by mistake: We're not interested in your views of stupid Americans who come over here with their big video cameras saying Gee, I love your history, it's just so old. SOD OFF!
Quality. Just the reason why hes on the show.

Slightly OT, but did anyone see clarkson on QI the other day.

I am a fan of him, big mouth and all, but when I flicked on I couldnt understand what he was doing there. He turned out to seem well out of his depth, and I suspect that he wont be invited, not want to be, back again.

He seemed to be a strange choice of guest, and I did wonder who he owed a favour to, or the other way round, for him to end up there.

He's been on there regularly since the show began. I think it's probably because he's one of Stephen Fry's mates rather than any 'intellectual prowess' factor.
Ah, makes sense then. Never seen him before myself on the programme. I know he never claims to be a brain, in fact the opposite, so thought it strange to see him there.
