my chrysler crossfire roadster roof is stuck!!

Hi im trying to find out if there is a quick fix! When i release the roof hinge and press the button to open the roof the windows go in to the doors an beeping noise sounds and the roof freezes. A garage has had a quick look for me to tell me that the button in the car and the sensor in the boot and both working and recieving power.

Any ideas!!!
