Had a passenger ride in this earlier today :

Holy sheet, I thought Id been in some fast cars, but this totally redefines my definition of fast.

Just breathtakingly fast.

Cannot begin to imagine what its like to get to grips with one on the track.

The overall quality of the car seems to be a step up from what Ive seen fron Fezza as well, really good fit and finish.

I appreciate there is probably folk on here with some supers, but this is without doubt the fastest road car Ive ever been in.

Oh, and whilst I was there, a Carrera GT and GT3RS turned up at the same time .

I've never had the opportunity to ride in any Fez, but do own a 1000cc sportsbikes and have a good idea about fast acceleration.

I used to drag race a 1216 gsxr with nitrous, and this thing felt way quicker, believe me.

Is that a small driver, or is the car much bigger than its isolated proportions would have us believe?
Its not small, I would say the driver is a good 6 footer.

Im 6-4 and no lightweight but was comfortable in the pax seat.

Toyless although i respect your answer, i still think in a drag a litre sportsbike will be quicker? As someone else said being a passenger can feel alot quicker than it really is.
You are both probably correct, I think its more the feeling of the absolute power that I dont feel on a bike.

Theres probably a significant amount of feel down to being in the pax seat for sure, but I still wouldnt evcer say this car is slow.

Its "for sure" rewired my own speed sensors.

  • Al* - totally off topic, I just looks at your profile, do you happen to know Jon C, the drummer, works at the same place as you ?

What quarter mile times was your bike doing? Surely it's quicker than the 458? The standard GXSR 1100 was measured by Autocar as doing 0-100mph in 5.5 seconds.
9.5/140 ish. Cant remember the 60 foot times.

Besides, its not just short term acceleration of a lightweight thing like a bike, this was much more sledgehammer like and really didnt feel like running out of puff.

To put a bit of perspective into this, Im fairly used to going quick, but this felt so effortless and so ongoing, it was only road conditions that slowed it down.
