Guys and gals - I am going to look at a nice e36 M3. It’s a 1998 MY therefore around 12 years old. Its HPI clear etc and in great condition but it currently has had 5 former keepers and the current owner - therefore I would be number 7

I realise that condition is the most important factor, but I am worried that I would struggle to sell it on when I get bored.

What do you guys think; is the number of former keepers really important to you? - be honest please.

Thanks for feedback

I think given the type of car and the age 5 or 6 aint too bad. I suppose another way of looking at things is to assume that every new owner would have the 'I love my new car and I am going to get the little bits sorted...' frame of mind.

I guess thre are enough of you out there who would judge the car on its merits and not the piece of paper.

Thanks

Well this thread was started by myself back in October. I did buy the car - it was a cracker. I sold it recently for £3k profit! New buyer didn't bat an eyelid at the owners as the car sold itself.
